Nā Peʻa 2022 Summer Camp (Logan Perry)

Updated: Aug 1, 2022

As a past crew member and now alaka’i i wanted to say. This year's crew was truly impressive. In the past the kids were given 7 full days before they even got in the wa'a. This was so that they could gain comfort within the crew, and work through some credentials. This year the crew were in the wa'a in Kiholo bay by the second day. They were then given 4 more chances to get into and get comfortable with the wa'a. At the end of these four days they camped for four more days and three nights in the beautiful Kiholo bay sailing every day. They even made their first destination sail on day three sailing UP WIND! These kids are some real rock stars.
